Tips and Tricks
- Herb substitution:
So funny story….I had every intention of using parsley for this recipe. But I accidentally grabbed the bunch of cilantro out of my fridge and didn’t realize it until I had chopped it up and added it to the dip. Ya know what though….It turned out great and I really like it with the cilantro so that’s how I kept this recipe.
However, if you are not a cilantro fan, feel free to substitute parsley. - Preparing the garlic:
There are a few different ways to mince garlic including mincing with a knife, using a grater or a garlic press. Use whichever way you prefer. A grater or garlic press will produce a stronger garlic flavor than mincing with a knife so keep that in mind. - Make a day ahead if you can. The flavor of the garlic gets stronger as the dip sits.
