If you love roasted red peppers, then you’ll love this dip recipe. There’s a smoky flavor from the peppers and smoked paprika gives an extra hint of smokiness and really enhances the overall dip.

It’s perfect for an every day snack or as an easy recipe for a potluck, party, game day or holiday.

You could do a whole dip trio. Here are some other great veggie dip ideas:

Tips and Tricks

Drain the jarred peppers well

You really want to get out excess moisture from the peppers so that the dip doesn’t become too thin or runny. I patted the peppers with a paper towel after I drained them.

I also placed a paper towel in the bottom of the strainer and let sit for a few minutes to help absorb the liquid.

Using fresh red peppers

I think the roasted peppers from a jar work well in this dip and are so easy to use. But roasting your own fresh peppers would be great in this recipe too.

Smoked paprika

I really love smoked paprika and use it in a lot of dishes. I think it really compliments the roasted peppers in this dip, but if you don’t have smoked paprika, regular paprika can be substituted.
