Quick and easy appetizer that is great for game day or any time you need a simple dish. This baked cream cheese pizza dip is always a crowd favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz block of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (I usually add a bit more for extra flavor)
  • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper, optional
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped or mini pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Mix together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy. Add garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper and mix until combined.
  • Spread evenly in a 9 inch pie dish. Pour pizza sauce over top of mixture. Top with green pepper and pepperoni.
  • Bake for 10 minutes
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Crock Pot Instructions

  • Mix together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy. Add garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper and mix until combined.
  • Add mixture to slow cooker.
  • Pour pizza sauce over top of mixture. Top with green pepper, pepperoni and cheese.
  • Heat on high for an hour or until warm. Stirring occasionally.
