Apple Salsa with Pomegranate

Fresh apple salsa with pomegranate makes a great appetizer or snack any time of year. A little savory, a little sweet and a little spicy! It’s refreshing and healthy!

  • 1 apple
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • salt, to taste


  1.  Remove the seeds from the jalapeno (or leave them in if you like more heat)

  2. Dice the apple and the jalapeno

  3. Place the diced apples, jalapenos and pomegranate seeds in a bowl

  4. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and stir together

  5. Let the salsa sit for at least 30 minutes so the flavors will meld
