Fresh apple salsa with pomegranate makes a great appetizer or snack any time of year. A little savory, a little sweet and a little spicy! It’s refreshing and healthy!

Ingredients
1apple
1jalapeno
1/2cuppomegranate seeds
1/2tspcinnamon
2tbspfresh orange juice
salt,to taste
Instructions
Remove the seeds from the jalapeno (or leave them in if you like more heat)
Dice the apple and the jalapeno
Place the diced apples, jalapenos and pomegranate seeds in a bowl
Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and stir together
Let the salsa sit for at least 30 minutes so the flavors will meld

You could also use half of two different apple varieties like I did in these photos.
