‘Tis the season for parties, holiday gatherings, potlucks, drinks, and food!! Did I say food? Pretty much the entire month of December seems to be one gigantic feast, doesn’t it? My first event of the month that I went to was on Dec 1. and will conclude with hosting a New Years Eve party on Dec. 31. Then of course there is everything in between. I love it, but I don’t love the pounds that usually come with it. I guess that just means I need to be more disciplined about going to the gym 🙂 I workout to eat is my line of thinking, lol.
Speaking of the holidays, I finally just finished decorating my Christmas tree. My tree and I had a few fights this year. I have an artificial pre-lit tree that is about 10 years old. It still looks pretty good, but the last couple of years, I’ve had problems with the lights. Last year I replaced a section and this year, two sections were out when I plugged it in. I’m too much of a perfectionist and did not want to buy a new tree so I removed all the lights from the sections that were out, tested them, and replaced all the bad ones. I got the tree fully lit again and when to decorate it a couple of days later…another section was out! Ah! Fun times!
